I love play on word creations for various occasions; puns that use words in place of common words that have a theme or different meaning.
While I was scrolling through my cartridges on Cricut Design Space I spotted that little mouse from Create a Critter cartridge. I think he is adorable and the idea of “mice” to meet you popped in my head. I hope you think so too.
During a recent trip to Hobby Lobby I picked up a set of boxed cards Natalie’s Closet. I love all of the bright colors, polka dot, gingham and flower patterns in the set. Super cute!
The gingham patterned card is from this set. I can not express to you how happy it makes me to design my cards using card bases from Hobby Lobby. No one is making me say this I am just sharing this with you.
I used the cut and print feature in Cricut Design space. This is another easy and quick way to design using all of those images I’ve drooled over for years. Don’t get me wrong I still love to cut paper and layer but when I am pressed for time, the cut and print feature is the way to go for me.
The stack of books is from Cricut Recess. Did you notice I wrote the subjects on the spine of the book?
I designed the sentiment on my computer, printed it out, tore around edges to give a jagged look and added ink and doodling with markers.
You know no project of mine would not be complete without a little doodling so I used my black markers, white gel pen and also my clear star pen for added glimmer.
