Country Christmas Decor 2017

Hello my sweet friends ~ its been a long time since I've posted and I apologize for that. Life has been super busy and honestly I've lost a bit of crafting mojo.....if you've been with me for some time I do go through these dry-creative spells - BUT things always turn around so there's hope! Today I'm sharing my Christmas decor for 2017 ~ click here to view on YouTube or watch … [Read more...]

DOLLAR TREE Valentine Swag

I have admired these swags forever and have made several with muslin fabric and was excited to try my hand at one to include with my valentine decor.  I will be honest when I say they are time consuming and messy if you use burlap.  If you use just fabric they are not quite as messy. I started with red, pink and brown burlap from the Dollar Tree, added some of my own stash and created this sweet … [Read more...]

♥ Americana Mantel Decor 2015

This is my favorite time of summer, decorating for 4th of July. My home is very primitive country and I have a lot of navy, dark red and antique white colors throughout my decor already so this theme just fits right in. You may spot some of my usual decor from last year but I did switch things up a bit.  The Americana Burlap Banner is a new addition to my decor for 2015. I will be back … [Read more...]

Lenten Mantel ~ 2013

When I took down the Valentine Mantel decor I found my mantel bare again.  For me, it's too early for St. Patrick's Day and Easter/Spring decor so this desire came over me to add some Lenten decor items to my mantel to remind our family of what this season is all about.  Being catholic my entire life I've participated in many lenten seasons but for some reason, this year I find the enthusiasm to … [Read more...]

{Winter Mantel} for January 2013

I don't usually take down my Christmas decorations until after New Years but this year we decided to give my son a little party to celebrate his 16th birthday.  I really needed the room where the tree was so down came the Christmas decor.  This left my mantel pretty bare.   I went searching online for Winter Decor and came across lots of different ideas.  Most of the colors were white, silver, … [Read more...]
