I really like to cook (I am not going to go as far as to say “love” to cook – but I really like to) and I am a girl of convenience. When I get off work I don’t feel like coming home and cooking a big meal so it is easy to get wrapped up stopping to pick up fast food. Crockpot cooking really gives me that head start on dinner and love that I can come home to a meal already prepared. The hostess … [Read more...]

♥ How to turn a Paper Bag into a Cute Purse Gift Card Holder
What a fun project I have to share with you today. My twin nieces just turned 10 and are into all of the girlie things like clothes. Being that I have all boys I am not the best to shop for junior girls so the next best thing is cash. That way they can shop for their own clothes or buy what they want. I put these cute gift bags together for them and wanted to share how I did it. See the … [Read more...]
Easy Fix for a Table Cloth that is too long!
I have a dining table that sits up to 8 people (with 2 separate leafs we can take out) -- for many years I had it set up for a seating of 6 but since there is only the 4 of us I recently took out the other leaf and made it a a 4 seater....and a little smaller giving me more room in my Dining Area. Since I had it set for 6 for so many years I have acquired quite a collection of table clothes that … [Read more...]

♥ Americana Mantel Decor 2015
This is my favorite time of summer, decorating for 4th of July. You may spot some of my usual decor from last year but I did switch things up a bit. The Americana Burlap Banner is a new addition to my decor for 2015. I will be back … [Read more...]
♥ Happy Birthday Princess Card | Using Extra Cricut Cuts ♥
Now I've had my Cricut die cutting machine since 2009 and have cut many shapes out of card stock over the years that I used for projects, cards, scrapbook pages and more. Any paper crafter knows that you always have those extra pieces of paper, extra cuts that are too small, too big, not the right color or what have you. So, what to do with them? Throw them in an "extra cuts" drawer and move … [Read more...]
